Designed in-house

Every piece starts as a sketch

Our signature Miki designs begin as a sketch in Nicola’s hands before moving through CAD and the design development process. We take our time refining each design until it feels just right, creating jewellery that reflects the effortless, coastal style Miki is known for.

Drawn, refined and developed in-house in Dunsborough by Nicola.

Sketch to finished piece

How the Seahorse came to life

One piece, three stages. This is the road MiKi designs travel before they reach you.

It starts on paper

Nicola draws pieces by hand, working through the shape, the proportions and the way it will sit, long before any metal is involved.

Modelled in 3D

From there it moves into CAD. Every curve and setting is modelled and measured digitally, so the piece is right before it is ever cast.

Cast, set and worn

The piece finally comes to life. Crafted with care and finished to the highest standard, it is now ready to be worn and treasured.

Why it matters

Competitors can copy the product. They can't copy the process.

Not a one-off

This is how all of it is made

The Seahorse is one of countless Miki designs that travel the same road, from a first pencil line to a fully measured render, right down to the millimetre.
